Heartfelt Creations and Creative Embellishments canvas.

It's time for another Heartfelt Creations share and I''m really happy with the project I have for you this week. I wish you could see how sparkly and pretty it is in real life. Photos never seem to really do justice.

This week we are pairing up with Creative Embellishments and are showcasing their beautiful chipboard pieces on our projects. I have worked with a lovely clock face which I have dressed up with a scroll shape. You can see that I cut the scroll into two pieces and spread it across my project.

I used lots of texture paste to add interest to the background, with sparkly glitter sprinkled over.  I used glitter embossing powder to complete the chipboard pieces. I then layered with lots of pretty roses from the Classic Rose collection from last month.

Over on the blog you can get a preview of the next collection called Pampered Pooch, and as always, there are lots of clever projects to inspire you from the rest of the Design Team.

Blushing Rose from Heartfelt Creations.

It's time for another brand new collection from Heartfelt Creations. I feel like this one is an extension of the Classic Rose from last month. The same beautiful rose stamp and die set co-ordinates perfectly with this collection, making it great value for money.

Here's a few words about the collection from the designers:

Imagine a pristinely decorated, old fashioned parlor filled with charming antiques, vintage wallpaper and the finest assembling of handsome rose patterned china offering up delectable treats and deliciously fragrant tea!  Amidst the refreshments, and scattered throughout the quarters you are drawn to lavish rose bouquets in every color imaginable, plucked from the pristine rose garden just outside the elegantly draped garden doors. As you glance around it is clear that this exquisite sitting room has been adorned for a very special occasion!  Heartfelt Creations invites you to sit, relax and indulge as they unveil the new Blushing Rose Collection!  Soft in hues and striking in patterns, this newest rose themed release will have you reminiscing of old fine bone china, lace tablecloths, and elegantly wallpapered sitting rooms.  Delicate images of swirling roses, fluttering butterflies and vintage scripted postcards nestled among old fashioned wallpaper like stripes, beautiful brocades and decorative lace accents have been gently set against calming tones of pale yellows, mixed blends of greenish blues, and soft lilacs.  The delicate, illustrations of rose clusters and single stemmed roses found within the cling stamp sets will bring back memories of the ravishing patterns on Grandma’s finest tableware that were kept behind glass and only made an appearance for the grandest of occasions.  Paired together with the coordinating stamps, the ornate dies in this collection will allow you to create enamoring rose motif die cuts perfect for all of your paper crafting needs.  A large focal background stamp, along with a full assembling of all occasion sentiments are the perfect window dressings to complete your soft and romantic vintage style rose themed creations. We invite you to enjoy the finest in paper crafting as we present the Blushing Rose Collection!

I love how the addition of flower stamens to these blossoms creates a very different effect to the ones I made last month.

Have you seen the gorgeous tea set that Tracey Fehr has on the blog this week. Check it out here, and tell which is your favorite project this week.

This week for Heartfelt Creations, I made a pretty purple card. I used one of the large print papers for this, making use of the printed sentiment as a focus point. I created a little pocket, and made lots of flowers to have spilling out from the side of the card. The combination of roses and the vine foliage, make creating a bold effect really simple. I find that having just flowers on their own looks a little un natural, but the addition of the foliage really finishes it off.

If you are liking the purples in this collection like I do, check out the blog, There are a whole bunch of purple themed cards and projects this week. You can also see another sneak of the next collection coming called Blushing Rose.
