Oops, here was I promising to update this more often and it has been a whole week. I guess I figure that it will be a boring read because I still can;t access my photos to share. The good news is that Michael has taken the computer to the repair shop, so hopefully we will be back to normal really soon.

In other news, I am off to ISC in the morning with the lovely Sara to do a workshop with Alannah Jergensmeyer from Arctiv Frog, so I am really looking forward to that.

Things are progressing very slowly on the New York front but no news yet. We are having fun on the net though, deciding where we might like to live.

A big Hi, to Vic who dropped in for a visit. Hope to see you around more often. I hope that baby belly isn't giving you too much grief. Not long now!

Not much else to report. Got some great new stuff from Bumblebee yesterday, but I can't share just yet. The ads that I have seen have been quite good so far, which is really nice. It's nice when people recognise it. Once I can get to my photos again, I'll post the published work here, so you can see which ones were mine. In the latest SM, mine is the one about the USA.

Best get off to bed so I can make it to the coast by 8 in the morning.

Saturday, May 13

Thanks heaps Sara for my new banner and slide show. It looks great. I'll have to figure out how to do this stuff myself eventually.

I went to visit Holly today. She is my dog that has gone to live with a new family. I really liked seeing her today. She has put on weight, and she seems really happy at her new house. She has more room and another border collie to play with. We got a few ohotos but without my normal computer I can;t have a good look at them yet.

A big Happy Birthday to Leisa and kerri at Scrapbook City. They celebrated their first year in business today. It was certainly nice and busy when I dropped in. The retreat is coming up really soon and the best news is that Sara is now coming. I;m very excited about that. I've never been to a retreat without her and I wasn'y looking forward to scrapping without her. I need to get cracking on a name tag now, not to mention finish the layout that I'll be teaching.

Meanwhile I'm off to do some blog surfing.

Friday, May 12

I haven't been able to post for a while for a few resons. We've been away, we've been sick and our computer has died. I can use Michael's laptop now to surf the net, but I can't get access to any photos so this will be a pretty boring post.

On a scrapping front I have been very busy at Indro. We have the retreat coming up soon, so there is lots to be done for that. i have almost finished the layout that I will be teaching. I have also done up the new design team kits, and the June customer challenge kit and some other kits that I can;t really talk about yet. it's all very exciting, but quite time consuming,. It's good to have it all done for the moment.

I'm busily working on my bunblebee design team stuff. There are new ads out int he mags but I haven't seen them yet.

Not much else going on really. Amanda is back from Canada, so I look forward to catching up with her.

Meanwhile, Michael is watching The Roadrunner (beep, beep) so I might try to sneak inside for some scrapping time.

Monday, May 1

Another long weekend gone. I'm going to miss them. I love 4 day weeks. Got a fair bot of scrapping done this weekend. I finished the cover of the baby journal for my sister, but I haven't photographed it yet. I finished a layout that I started at Deb's. I also got some DT stuff done, which is good.

We went to Ikea on Saturday and I got some really great glass jars for my ribbon scraps, so now they are all colour organised. They were only $5 for 4 of them too, so that was a bargain. I found some other stuff that I would like for my room, but with New York looming, Michael reckons there is no point getting more stuff to go on the walls.

I got some of my New Zealand photos printed up yesterday. I am having trouble uploading them here though. Maybe they are too big.

I got around to doing my canvas for the SAM cc and I'm really happy with the result. It;s a set of 4 mini canvases that i'll hang together like a montage.

My good friend Kate just called me from Emerald. I'm missing her a lot since she moved so it was really good to talk to her, and the best part is, she might be coming to New York at the end of the year.

Finally for today a big HI to Jen and Jill, who are new visitors to my blog.

Saturday, April 29

Sara complained last night that I haven't given her anyhting new to read so this is for you.
Last night was fun, we went to Deb's for a crop. I'm finding it difficult to crop away from home at the moment, because I never seem to have the things I need to finish a project.
I started a baby journal for my sister last night. I've finished the cover now, and I've started the pages inside. I'll send it to her this week, then send her more pages throughout the pregnancy.
I have painted my canvases for the CC this weekend, but that's as far as I have gotten. I don't feel very motivated, but I do want to get it done.
I finally got through our NZ photos today, so I'm off to print them out tomorrow.
I got my DT kit from Bumblebee yesterday, with some really nice stuff, so I am keen to get a few layouts done. I also picked up some supplies from Scrapbook City today to design a layout for the retreat which is coming up quite soon.
Meanwhile, I should go and so some scrapping so I actually have something to show.

Wednesday, April 19

The kids were back to school today. I guess it wasn't too bad. At least it is only 2 more days till the weekend. The craft show is on this weekend. I'm working on Sunday for kerri and Leisa, so that should be fun.

I finished off some layouts for Bumblebee today, so that's one less thing on the list of stuff to finish.

I have almost finished my a-z. I just have one LO to finish off properly. The title page is almost there, and the cover just needs a little bit of work. I also need to do the product page. I also have stuff dor Indro I have to finish.Looks like a busy night ahead.

Here is my U page. It is one of my favourites from the whole album. I quite like my G for giggle page too. I love the photo.

Better get to it.

Monday, April 17

Hi. We are back from holidays. We spent a week in Chrsitchurch in New Zealand. It was really nice. We did very little of anything. It was a good chance to have some time with just the three of us relaxing. Kyan was a perfect angel on the plane, which was a huge relief. He loved looking out the window. We stayed in a unit which turned out to be right near the airport, so every time a plane took off, Kyan ran to us wanting to be picked up to go out and see the plane. Talk about obsessed.

Did some scrapping while we were away while Kyan was sleeping. I have almost finished my a-z...finally. Just a few finishing touches to go. I have a stack of stuff due this week, so I really need to get stuck into it.

Our first lot of stuff for the Bumblebee design team is in the current Scrapbooking Memories. It's very exciting to finally see it.

Here is my beautiful boy:

Here are a couple more a-z layouts and my cc layout for the weekend. I really like this photo of Sara and I.

Tuesday, April 4

I had quite an interesting day at work today. I can't go into specifics because of privacy but basically a problem has been solved but not in quite the way or timeframe I was hoping for. The result was the same, but it's left me with mixed feelings about the whole process.

Kyan had an excursion at daycare yesterday, to the carpark to see a fire engine. Apparently he loved it, especially the lights. Unfortunately I couldn;t go (and take photos) because I was at work. Even worse is that I work right next door, and could hear the sirens but couldn't go.

Anyway, he was exhausted as he usually is after day care and I had to put him down for a nap at 4:30, and he didn't wake until 9:00. Michael was at work late, so I did what any self respecting scrapper would do, and did another layout for my a-z. Here t'is:

I'm quite happy with this one. It is one of my favourites, although I don;t feel tlike the album overall ios up to scratch. Boy pages are tricky at the best of times, but 26 of them all matching but different is pretty tough. Girl pages are so much easier.

Anyway, I've got a beautiful baby on my lap who smells a bit sus, so I better go change him into a clean baby.
Cheers

Sunday, April 2

I've had a very scrappy day today, and loved it. I finally feel like I'm getting somewhere with my a-z. I got another 2 layouts finished today and another handful on the way.
Here's my R page:

I also got in and did the cyber challenge for SAM even though I thought I wouldn't and look Sara I've used that Creamsicle ribbon yet again. (lol)

Hmm, what else, I finished a layout and a BTP for Indro but I haven't taken photos yet. I did a layout for Bumblebee last night too, but I can't show that one yet.
Melissa (my sister) was here last night, but we didn't get many photos. There might be one of her and Kyan that is scrappable, I'll have to have another look.
One more week until we fly off to New Zealand. Michael even offered for me to do some scrapping while we are away since it's a relaxing kind of holiday. I'm looking forward to having a look at the scrapping shops in Christchurch. I like looking for new things.

Big welcome hugs to Roz and Ang, who are now on my sidebar.

It's getting late and I have work tomorrow, so as much as I'll like to continue my scrapping roll, I'd better head off to bed. Have a good week.

Tuesday, March 21

I worked at the craft show on the weekend for Leisa and Kerri. It was a lot of fun, and I got to know the lovely Christie. They have just asked me to teach a class on Saturday and I have to go in and make uip the new design team packs, so Saturday should be fun. They have the new Chatterbox stuff too, so I'm looking forward to seeing all of that.

I'm expecting some new stuff from Bumblebee soon, which will include stuff from CHA so that will be exciting.

I recieved a magazine in the mail today called Up 2 Scrap, which is a New Zealand mag and it has one of my layouts in it, so I'm now calling myself "international" (lol), The LO looks pretty good. I'm looking forward to sitting down and looking through the rest of the magazine.

I got a commisioning letter from SM yesterday so lots of exciting things are happening at the moment. My a-z is a bit woeful though. I just don't seem to have enough time. I put up a wire string along my scrapbook room wall yesterday to display my stuff. I have all my current a-z LO's up there at the moment. I'm liking it a bit more now that I can see it all aat once.

***EXCITING NEWS***

For anyone who doesn't already know, Michael might be getting a secondment and we could be moving to New York for a couple of years. It would sad to have to give up my DT positions, but apart from that we are rearing to go. We just have to wait for confirmation now. I hate waiting.

Anyway, enough for today. Kyan is getting restless.
