Hello Ruby Rock-It Fans! We are excited to be partnering up with our sweet friends over at The Twinery this month and we are having a blog hop with their fabulous team!

You should have arrived here from Jaclyn Miller's blog. If you have missed any along the way,

>>> You are here: Alicia Barry

Here's what I have come up with. I have made a couple of sweet. simple cards, but then dressed them up with some lovely twine from the Twinery. In both cards I have done some wrapping and then ties off with pretty bows. The twine is nice and soft and makes it really easy to get the bows into a nice shape.

Sunflowers!!

I am really loving the new Classic Sunflower collection from Heartfelt Creations, and it sounds like everyone else is too. There has been really great feedback already.

This week I have made a little "Get Well" card. I really like the way this came together. The denim colouring looks so great against the yellow and orange flowers.

I love that you can make a whole heap of layered flowers from just one die, and the new style of die which removes the need to make a template first makes it really quick and easy.

Make sure that you check out what the other designers have been up to on the blog as usual...especially Liz Walker's card. I love how she has used the same die in different colours for a completely different look.

Wednesday again already

The time seems to be going so fast at the moment. My little tiny first born child just turned 10!!!!  There's only a few weeks of school left and then only one more term til my last teeny tiny baby starts school. It's nuts.

On the plus side it does mean that Heartfelt Creations Wednesday has rolled around already. I am especially excited about this one because new release day... AND it's all about sunflowers!!! I adore sunflowers, and I am so pleased that Heartfelt have done such an amazing job putting this collection together. I would have been devestated if it hadn't been awesome, but of course, that was never really going to happen. Anyway, not only does this release have Sunflowers, but also butterflies. Another one of my favourite things.

There are gorgeous stamps of course, plus a die to make gorgeous sunflowers (Yay!!) and the die is an all in one die, making it super easy to cut lots of blossoms at once.

Classic Sunflower Collection

Here is my first of many projects using this collection. I got the easel from the local $2 store.

I was so happy to get this collection that I have already used it for a commission piece in Australian Scrapbook Ideas to be on the lookout for that, plus I will be using it in a workshop I will be teaching soon here in Brisbane. It's not been announced yet, so I can;t tell you any more than that, but it is a kit class, using these papers to make an off the page project. The rest of the papers as well as the die and stamps  will also be available for sale both from me, and through A Crafter's Passion. Let me know if you are interested and I will make sure you get the details when it is announced.

I'm not even sure I can choose a favourite from the designers this week. I really like how Karan has made her sunflowers with a white ink, and Sandra's birdhouse is so sweet, and there is something about Loretta's design will all the same size sunflowers that really gets my attention. Make sure you pop over the have a look at all of the projects here.

Some more Heartfelt Christmas

This week on the Heartfelt Creations blog I have a pretty card to share,. I really love the lantern stamp that comes with this kit. It's so pretty. You can't quite tell, but the image has been embellished with glitter after it was hand coloured.

I really love these poinsettia flowers too.

There are so many amazing projects on the blog this week. I can;t even choose only one favourite. I love the banner that Lori has made, and the cute gift bags by Regina Hamilton,  and the super awesome wreath from Ujjwal Goel. You can tell I am a big BTP fan. Don;t take my word for it, check it out all the work here!
