Getting there.

So much has happened since I last blogged. I have been here I promise, but by the time I do all my other little bits and pieces on the computer, I run out of time to post. Thanks to everyoen who keeps checking in, and best of all to those of you who leave messages. Sorry If I don;t get back to you straight away. I will eventually though.

So, since last time.... the cyber crop went really well. There was much fun to be had by all. A few special mentions to San for her "changing incident", Jen for her 4 litres of wine, and Louise for her cheekiness in the trivia and of course a big What the??? for the 27 pages of chat!!! Well done to all of the winners. It was very hard to choose the winners, everyone did such a great job.

On Saturday we had our good friends Shaun and Lesleigh come up from Sydney to visit before we leave. My BIL and his girlfriend came over as did the lovely Sara. I wont go into details, but it was a very fun day/night.

On Sunday night we headed over to another friend's place for dinner which was lovely.

Last night was my farewell party at Scrapbook City. Leisa and Kerri are such wonderful and generous ladies. I'll really niss them. It seems that they need 2 people to fill my 1 space so Sara and Giovanna have jumped on board.

I still have a hige amount of packing to do, so I better get on with it and get off this computer.

Here are a couple of pictures to leave you with.

11 sleeps to go!

So cute

The cutest thing just happened. When we got home I put Kyan down for a rest as he was pretty grizzly. I could hear him starting to play so I went to investigate. I could tell he was near the door, so I knocked a few times, to be met with giggles. I opened the door just a littel to be confronted with Kyan atop his bike, I didn't even realise he had taken it in there. So cute. He is riding up and down the hall at the moment.

Not much else to tell, but lots going on of course. 6 school days left. For anyone who doesn't already know, Kerri and Leisa are having a bit of a farewell on Tuesday night for me at the shop, from 4-7. I'd love to see anyone who is in the local area.

The kids watched a skipping demonstration by the Sherwood Arrows today. They are a team of primary school children who do the most amazing skipping tricks. The kids really enjoyed it too.

Not much scrapping getting done. I wouldn't mind sitting down and doing a little tonight.

Tomorrow night, I am hosting my very forst Cyber crop at Scrapbook City. It should be heaps of fun and some great prizes too, so please come along and say Hi. We are up to 98 users at the moment, and I'm hoping to get to 100 by tomorrow night, so if you haven't been to check it out yet, please do so. We are very nice, I promise.

Far too busy.

First of all, my apologies for the double up of my last post. Will go and delete when I have a spare second to press the button.

Everything is just nuts at the moment. I shouldn;t even be on the computer, but I have had so many visitors here, it would be rude of me not to talk to you. Thanks to all the new people who have come out of the woodwork to say Hi.

We had to go to Sydney on the weekend as we had to go to the consulate to get our visas. We went down on Sunday and stayed with my Aunt and Uncle who hadn't seen Kyan yet. They were completly besotted with him and had lots of fun. Kyan loved being the centre of attention and really showed off. My cousin was also home from Melbourne for the weekend so that was perfect timing.

All seemed to go well at the consulate, except that Michael misplaced the reciepts for one of the fees and so we had to pay it again as they wouldn't accept a photocopy of it. The wait was long as we ex[ected, and there was plenty of security. I guess we are in for a bit of that in the next little while.

Kyan was pretty good on the plane. I'm not looking forward to the long flight to LA though. It's going to be a lot of working keeping him occupied for that long.

Anyway, I have been home for about 2 hours now, and I am still on the computer. Plus we have to go out for dinner tonight, so I had better go and doing something "moving" related.

Please say hi.

Not much to say today. Have been busy working on DT layouts. Will have more to show tomorrow.
I have spent a little bit of time fixing up my sidebar today. If you visit please remember to say Hi, so I know you have been and I can add you to my sidebar.
Meanwhile, I am getting really tired of those anonymous comments. Sara gave me the instructions to put word verification on, but I am putting it on as I don't particularly like having to do it all the time on other blogs and I donlt want my visitors to have to do it, but they are getting more frequent. We'll see how long I can hold out.

New design team members

The new forum at Scrapbook City is going well. Hi to all those who have joined up, and if you haven't, why not??? I am hosting my forst ever cyber crop on the 25th of August, so I am looking forward to that.

We also have some new design team members so that's exciting too.

Everything else is mving along at an alarming rate. I had the removalist come today to give me an idea of what we can take. There's more paperwork to be done. You should see the size of Michael's file now. At least 3 inches thick. Not long to go now.

I have almost completely packed away my scrap room, although all my essentials are accessible. Good thing too because I have a heap of DT work to do. Speaking of which I better go and get some photos printed.

It's all on!

We are so unbelievably busy at the moment. I'm not surprised though. I knew it would be full ion once we got the offer. Poor Michael has had a mountain of paper work to do. It;s all worth it though. Tomorrow I have to go and get a new passport since my current one will run out before the visa does. I'm going to have to pay extra now to get it early. We then have to go to Sydney to the American consulate to get the visa's. Luckily we can get appointments for both fairly soon. I also have the removalists coming on Thursday to give us some idea of how much we can take.

We spent a fair bit of time yesterday cleaning out the garage and got rid of a heap of stuff to go to the tip. Last night I soent more time in my scrap room. I'm almost down to the stuff that I plan to take now. It's been good to have a big clean out.

My sister came down on Saturday to collect a trailer load of furniture. Things are moving slowly but surely. We went to Mum's on Saturday night for dinner with some family friends.

Last week I spent some time with Sara and Ang doing a bit of a photo shoot. I've really missed just hanging out with these girls, especially Ang. I get to see Sara more often. It was really great to spend the day together like we used to. We got some great shots. Ang really knows how to set up a good shot. I even like the photos of myself. I have a heap to print. They should keep me from missing them too much in the first couple of months.

Have done a little bit of scrapping, but mostly for bumblebee. I have a layout and an add in the new scrapbook creations, but I haven't seen it yet.
